Let’s start the second half of 2020 with a thank you!

It has been said that the first half of 2020 was the longest ever first half of any year in human recorded history*. It certainly feels that way to a lot of us, having talked to quite a few people from all over the world in the last couple of months.
I hope you are keeping safe and that you and your loved ones are fine!
I wanted to thank you for being a part of this journey which makes me a bit more hopeful for the second half of 2020. Right now, much of my time is taken up with this beauty of a review copy:
Have you already read it or are you going to read it soon? Please share your thoughts here or send me an email at marcel@thetolkienist.com as I would love to include other people’s ideas on John Garth’s latest!
And yes, you will read my review on this book first!
I suppose you have already seen it but just to be on the safe side: the Tolkien community has a weekly newsletter on all things Tolkienian and fantasy again – the Roving Ranger. You’ll find both the subscription page and the letter archive here. It is time to push #TolkienTuesday a little, another project that has been lurking at the back of my mind for some time now 🙂
Let’s see what the next weeks will bring.
* Some people said it somewhere. Probably on Twitter. 😉
